Henry Earl Sayles was born just outside of Pittsburgh, Texas to Tom and Margaret Sayles (Longview, TX). Earl Sayles would later meet and marry Aline Thurmond Sayles (Winnsboro, TX) prior to going and serving in WWII (both Earl and Aline are now deceased – Earl 2003 and Aline 1999). Together Earl and Aline had 6 children and numerous grandchildren/great grandchildren and great great grandchildren:
1. Johnny Sayles (deceased 8/1993 - while living in Chicago, IL). Johnny had a total of 6 children. Sherilyn Sayles Brooks – Tulsa, OK; David Sayles – (deceased 1971); EJ Sayles – Los Angeles, CA; Debbie Sayles Young – Phoenix, AZ; Deidre Sayles – Southfield, MI; Antwan Sayles – Chicago, IL
2. Manina “Ruth” Sayles Mathis – currently living in Cedar Hill, TX, Ruth has 4 children: Tony Mathis – Duncanville, TX; Darrell Mathis – Duncanville, TX; Tina Mathis Johnson – Duncanville, TX; Sean Mathis – Cedar Hill, TX
3. Joe Mack Sayles – Mineola, Texas. Joe has 2 children – Tabitha Sayles – Mineola, TX and Steven Sayles or Wichita Falls, TX
4. Jerry Frank Sayles – Dallas, TX. Jerry has 2 children David and Jackie who both reside in Dallas
5. Pam Sayles Grant – Dallas, TX. Pam has 2 children Vincent McGee of Dallas and Demetrius McGee of Florence, AZ
6. Pat Sayles White-Craig – Birmingham, AZ. Pat has 2 children, Kelly White or Plano, TX and Kennard Craig or Birmingham, AL
